We invite you to Friuli Venezia Giulia to discover the Cantina Produttori Cormòns, born at the end of the Sixties thanks to the far-sightedness of some wine growers from Cormòns, who wanted to learn from centuries-old traditions. The passionate growers have always believed that the future of vine growing and wine making is not tied to the evanescent trends but to the determined enhancement of their territory.
Cormòns
Who we are
It was 1968 when a meeting among people established a unique Cantina for the quality of wines and for the special initiatives
We based our production project on the care of Vineyards, writing a Countryside notebook, a detailed Code of conduct that every member has to comply with. Here all the details are written down. Each member reports the start and the end date of the grapevine phenological stages, in order to achieve a homogenous and high qualitative standard of the grapes. A steady supervision of the 350 hectares of vineyards ensures protection from parasites and 8 equipped weather stations scatter over microclimatic spots record any change in weather. The collected information is immediately dispatched to the Cantina computer station: a technology which fully respects the old customs.

Wine is art
Many artists have contributed to making the Cantina Produttori Cormons a reference point in Friuli Venezia Giulia for all the art and wine lovers.
On several occasions from the early Eighties, about 20 among the major artists of the second half of the twentieth century (such as Zancanaro, Celiberti, Ciussi, Ceschia, Spessot, Benedetti, Crico, Fornarelli, Ornella and Menon, just to mention a few) were invited to paint the Slavonian oak barrels, thus creating a unique art gallery with vivid imagination and, different painting styles and techniques.
Cormòns joined together artists of vineyards, of grape harvest as well as of figurative art.
Our BOTTAIA is absolutely unique and is the clear proof that winemaking is an art.
Visiting the BOTTAIA is a feast for the eyes as well as for other senses.
