The ceremony took place on February 21st at the Bigi farm in Bondeno di Gonzaga. The president of the Consorzio Vini Mantovani, Luciano Bulgarelli, gave the representatives of the Cantine Produttori Cormòns the vine seedlings of the Grappello Ruberti grape that will join the other 550 that contribute to the creation of the Wine of Peace. This example of oenological excellence is renown all over the world, having become at Christmas a peace ambassador to various Heads of State and politicians as well as to the Holy Father in the Vatican State.

During the evening ceremony – an idea conceived by ​​the photographer Gianni Bellesia, who had received a bottle of the Wine of Peace as a gift from the commander of the Carabinieri station of Moglia in our local area – we heard speeches from the parish priest of Suzzara, Monsignor Paolo Gibelli, the mayor of Gonzaga, Claudio Terzi and the deputy mayor of Moglia, Mauro Trevisi, as well as from Wainer Mazza, the mantuan songwriter, who had composed a new song for this occasion. At the end of an evening accompanied by the dishes of the chefs of the Club dal Gugiöl dal Merculdè, we were given the Wine of Peace new labels sketches, designed by local artists such as Carlo Moretti, Giancarlo Gozzi, and Natalino Bianchini.
